Jessica Simpson took a lot of abuse over packing on a few pounds and now has poked fun of the whole ordeal. Jess has been posting Tweets about her personal trainer putting her through the paces to shed the weight.
Jess said of the sessions "Every time we (her personal trainer) have to do squats, and he yells at me 'Get lower like you're in the club!'"
Simpson then adds, "I don't squat in the club unless I am peeing!"

Jessica Simpson looked like she had something to hide when leaving dinner in Sherman Oaks, California...maybe she's worried what folks are going to say about her oversized flower dress. Good thing Tony was nowhere to be seen.

The internet freaked out yesterday when Jessica Simpson's name disappeared from the Columbia and Sony Nashville record labels' websites. The "Do You Know" singer's Country & Western album received tepid reviews at best and has sold less than 200,000 copies leading people to assume that she'd been dropped.
So was she?
According to her rep, she was simply "
on loan" and still has a recording contract.
"She was on loan to Sony Nashville for her country album."
Simpson, who has released pop albums on the Epic label, "is and has always been an Epic artist," her rep adds. "She continues to be on Epic's label."
I guess in this day and age, being "from Texas" isn't enough to make it in country music.
Maybe Jessica should try out for American Idol?

Singer Jessica Simpson took a stand at a recent gig and said: "Women who are in abusive relationships should run so far away."
The 28-year-old singer - who has admitted she was in an abusive relationship - spoke out before the ballad Remember That. The song features the lyrics: "It doesn't matter how he hurts you/With his hands or with his words/You don't deserve it."
She told the crowd at the Cricket Wireless Pavilion that "In love, we all go through a lot of things, and a lot of things unfortunately make us stay there in the relationship.
"No matter what you go through in life, no matter what abuse you go through, take your heart and run so far away."
Although Simpson, who was wed to Nick Lachey and also dated John Mayer, has never named names, she admitted last year to Elle: "I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run."

Jessica Simpson battled weight gain rumors and unfair commentary this year, but she's proving the critics wrong every time she slings on a pair of tight denim daisy dukes! Jessica performed at the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Florida this weekend, and perhaps she was reliving those good ol' Dukes of Hazzard days.
Jessica's certainly not afraid of showing a little (muscular, toned, and shiny) leg for the fans, and why not? She looks awesome here.

Wow, Jessica Simpson sure is filling out in all the right places. I
know the
mom jeans sparked a lot of controversy concerning the
Dukes of Hazzard star's weight gain but from these pictures (taken on Feb 13), it looks like Jess is reaping the benefits!
On the way to dinner at Graydon Carter's Waverly Inn restaurant, the
"Come On Over" singer's skintight black top could barely contain her
now more than ample bosom.
Kim Kardashian, Kate Winslet, Monica Bellucci and now Jessica
Simpson are championing a sexier, curvier, and more realistic figure, so is
Hollywood ready to drop the pin thin stars?
