Forget about that 15-year-old looking mug in the Washington, D.C. airport-- Joss Stone cleans up well! The stunning singer made a splash when she took to the Kennedy Center Honors State Department Dinner red carpet in a Herve Leger "bandage dress" that made no apologies for her stunning, svelte figure.
The 21-year-old singer recently admitted that she hates getting compared to '60s singers along with other female stars her age, saying that "It's a shame people are putting us in the same category 'cos the 15-year-olds who've never taken the time to discover that music won't bother."
Do you agree? I bet we can all come to a consensus on one thing-- more Joss, please!

Joss Stone chats with a photographer in Washington, D.C., where she arrived for the Kennedy Center Honors. She called paps "so rude" for catching her without makeup, and said that "everything's kind of a secret" in terms of her plans for the future.
She might just get an award for most jovial transatlantic arrival captured on Splash video!

Joss Stone arrived in Washington D.C. without a stitch of slap this
weekend, leaving her a bit embarrassed to be seen out and about. With
her hair screwed up into two ponytails and huge hoop earrings, Joss
dragged her heavy suitcase out of international airport on her own--and ducked as many photogs as she could.
Plus, there was no trace of a pseudo-American accent here! We're glad
to hear Joss sound like she's from her side of the pond again, and you
can hear her soon with our video update.

Joss Stone turned up to the "Imagine There's No Hunger" charity event held at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City last night wearing TWO DIFFERENT SHOES! WTF?
Now I vaguely remembering doing this as a kid, way back in the late 80's, when Converse was reinventing themselves and they started releasing Chuck's in like a million different colors. They also had those super high-top converse that you could fold down and the inside of the shoe was a completely different color than the out. Like your shoes would be hot pink and then you could roll the top down, exposing the camouflage interior.
Yeah, it was lame back then but at least we were kids, they were Chuck Taylor's and we didn't match them to our outfit.

Joss Stone looked super-pleased with all the attention she was receiving when she hit the arrivals area at the Herve Leger show this weekend! When we stopped by the Fall 2008 show in New York, Joss strutted her stuff and got flirty with the cameras. She looks far more radiant than her purple-hair phase and could even be swapped for one of the models buzzing around Fashion Week in Manhattan this weekend.
Too bad Lindsay
stole this look last year.
