Can you guess who was seen adjusting her dress outside of an Oscars-related party? Before she went into the "Make a Difference" event and posed on the red carpet, she was seen getting herself prepared-- and all tucked in. Was that a... "Desperate" move (huge hint)?

Sarah Jessica Parker gave the red carpet crowd an eye full when she and
her husband Matthew Broderick walked the red carpet at 2009 Academy
Awards held at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.
The "barely mint" Dior Haute Couture dress could barely contain the 43-year-old
Sex and the City star's breasts. For a few moments I thought we were going to have to suffer through another Tara Reid red carpet type mishap!
Her hubby Matthew Broderick looked rather dashing in his Timothy Edwards Bespoke tuxedo.

Anne Hathaway, who was nominated for Best Actress in
Rachel Getting Married, looked amazing in a gorgeous silver Armani Prive dress on the red carpet at the 2009 Academy Awards.
The
Ella Enchanted
star also helped Oscars host Hugh Jackman perform the opening act, with
Shirley Maclaine saying that she has a wonderful voice and to "keep
singing."

Danny Boyle continued his surprising run by winning the Academy Award's best director prize for helming
Slumdog Millionaire.
Born in Lancashire, England the director gained fame early in his career for directing the 1996 film
Trainspotting. But it took the smash hit
Slumdog Millionaire to put Boyle on the map.
The underdog story of a kid from the slums of Mumbai, India who entered a game show to track down his true love has resonated with critics and audiences alike. The movie has garnered controversy along with the praise, but that hasn't stemmed the tide of recognition from pouring in.
Slumdog has been a juggernaut during the awards season and Boyle has been honored for his part, collecting BAFTA, Golden Globes, Critic's Choice and now Oscar awards for best director.

Beyonce, wearing a black strapless dress with what looks like floral
gold accents, is one of my nominees for worst dressed on the red carpet
at the 2009 Academy Awards. The "Single Ladies" singer later performed
a cabaret style duet with Oscars host Hugh Jackman, as well as Vanessa
Hudgens, Zac Efron, Amy Adams, and Dominic Cooper during the show.

The 2009 Oscars were all about the underdog - better yet, the "Slumdog"...
Slumdog Millionaire.
The Bollywood-style tale about a Bombay tea-boy going from rags to riches steamrolled through the evening taking home seven Oscars, including Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Picture, and Best Director for Danny Boyle.
The little film that could led a charge, winning over critics and climbing toward the 100 million dollar hit status. Once flirting with a direct to DVD release, it was rescued from the heap of the condemned and much like the hero of the story, overcame the odds to become the biggest winner of all.
Also falling into that category was Kate Winslet. The 33-year-old actress, who has been nominated 5 times before, finally won, taking home the Best Actress Oscar for
The Reader. In a teary acceptance speech, Winslet thanked her family for their support over the years.
Sean Penn took home the Oscar for Best Actor for his portrayal of Harvey Milk, but perhaps the most emotional award of the night went to Heath Ledger.
The Australian received a posthumous Academy Award for best supporting actor for his role as The Joker in
The Dark Knight. His father accepted the award on his behalf but the statue will go to his 3 year old daughter Matilda when she turns 18.
