Victoria Beckham has reportedly landed a role in the third Madagascar movie alongside Ben Stiller and David Schwimmer.
The 35-year-old
singer-turned-fashion designer has previously had guest spots in shows
such as Ugly Betty and has provided the voice-over in an episode of
Spongebob Squarepants.
It is claimed her first movie role will be voicing a role in the animated movie Madagascar 3, which is due for release in 2012.
The first Madagascar flick was
released in 2005 and was about a group of zoo animals that escaped and
were accidentally sent back to Africa.

David and
Victoria Beckham have snapped up the latest celebrity trend - the micro-pig.
The pair have acquired two of the tea-cup-sized pets, which are currently being pampered by staff at the couple's "Beckingham Palace" in Hertfordshire, England.
The special crossbreed piglets come with a designer price-tag of £700 ($1,159) each.
The former Spice Girls singer is said to want to name the piglets Elton and David after their close friends
Sir Elton John and his partner
David Furnish, while football star Becks is reportedly keen to call them Pinky and Perky.
The pedigree pigs are already popular with other celebrities, including
Harry Potter actor
Rupert Grint, who is thought to own one, and
Paris Hilton.

Victoria Beckham will reportedly launch her own line of handbags and shoes.
A friend said:
"Victoria is tired of promoting other brands. If she wears Christian Louboutin or Hermès people go and buy it. She thought: 'Why can't I do this with my own line?' Her VB collection has gone down a storm across the celebrity world. If this is repeated with her line of shoes, the range would be worth an absolute fortune."
Because, yeah, they need more money.

Victoria Beckham offers her sister £50,000 to pay for her wedding this Christmas
Victoria Beckham has offered her sister a £50,000 cheque to pay for her wedding this Christmas.
Victoria, 35, has reportedly
said she will pick up the tab when her sister Louise, 31, marries
stockbroker Darren Flood on December 27, and it is claimed Victoria
wants the event to be held at her home - dubbed Beckingham Palace.
Victoria has also reportedly asked her own wedding dress designer Vera Wang to make Louise's dress.
A friend said: "Vic just told
Louise, 'I don't care what it costs - it will be my Christmas present
to you'. Louise was very emotional."
However, Louise's partner Darren, 30, is reportedly not so keen on Victoria paying for the affair.
The source added: "He is
insisting he gets the bill - it's why he is so respected and liked by
the family. But Victoria normally gets her way."
